Steve Ridder Basketball Camps

Basketball Camp

Since 1991, Coach Steve Ridder and his camp staff have directed the very popular Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camps and Team Camps, attracting over 1,200 participants every year. As the camps continue to grow, staff members are added to ensure that each camper receives the important individual instruction that makes the camps special. The Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camps have been recognized as one of the most respected camps in Florida.

It is our primary aim to teach new skills in fundamentally sound basketball and to improve the abilities of young men and women in the finer points of the game. It is our desire to not only develop the high school and college players of the future, but to help all of our campers acquire the vital ideals of good sportsmanship, discipline, leadership and citizenship. Therefore, our camp features sessions on such timely topics as Peer Pressure, Drugs and Alcohol, Nutrition, Conditioning, and Weight Training.

Everyone who enrolls in the camp will be required to attend all sessions and to comply with the rules and regulations governing the conduct of all participants. Any violation or abuse of these rules and regulations will result in immediate dismissal from the camp without refund.

Practical work with fundamentals and its main application to modern offensive and defensive methods are the main features of the Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camp. Come prepared to work hard and have fun!
